This website gives my fellow Isle of Man electors the opportunity to find out more about me, my beliefs and my values - and shows you how to contact me. Please feel free to use this site in order to raise any issues or concerns you might have or to provide feedback so that I can assist or comment upon them. I have been a resident of the Isle of Man for nearly three decades and have come to appreciate the people, culture and opportunities that we have here. No other island in the world compares to ours and we have a duty to keep secure our unique identity, not only for ourselves but for the future. Over the years I have been involved in a number of very diverse businesses and nursed a number of fledgling companies and partnerships into substantial entities. |

The skills I developed required clarity of thought, calculated risk-taking, accounting and dealing with people from all walks of life, making sure that we delivered what the customer wanted. I really believe that the time is now right for positive change that is not change for change’s sake. The world in which we sink or swim as a small nation state is changing rapidly. If we don’t adapt and stop adopting legislation from the UK and Europe without having some input, everything that’s been built and gives us one of the highest standards of living in the world is in danger of being submerged, as we become yet another appendage of the UK. If things continue the way they are we’ll become a small part of the European Union. I passionately believe that the Isle of Man has an excellent future if only we would make the right decisions and apply Manx solutions to Manx problems, not slavishly try and adopt legislation from across that addresses problems that do not manifest themselves here.
